Sophie Brasseur

Sophie did a 2-month research internship with us in 2024, during the first year of Master Degree at Sorbonne Université (Marine Sciences).

She conducted multiple ecotoxicological experiments to investigate the effects of glyphosate on the development of the spiny chromis (Acanthochromis polyacanthus). To do so, she incubated eggs in vitro in small volumes, and looked at the impacts of 3 different glyphosate concentrations on the survival and retina histology of spiny chromis embryos. Sophie also helped us with the maintenance of our fish husbandry and the sampling of larval fishes in the field.

After her internship in our team, Sophie pursued her studies with a the second year of the Marine Sciences Master at Sorbonne University.
